Dispelling the Shadows

This work represents that moment at dusk when each brushstroke seems to bring us closer to God. On the horizon, His light unfolds gracefully, gentle yet powerful, dispelling the darkness that surrounds us.
But shadows don't always arrive with storms or thunder. Sometimes they enter silently, with thoughts, or disguised as empty routines.
And darkness is like that: deceptive, confusing. With a little light, we realize it's there. It brings confusion, produces fear... and often leads us down paths we would never have wanted to tread.
This work reminds us of something essential: dispelling shadows is not a religious act; it's not pretending everything is fine. Nor does it happen overnight. It's a daily process of drawing closer to God's light, to His truth, to His revelation, to His presence. Ask for help if necessary, let go of the burden, because identity, peace, love, and security are formed and strengthened as we take courageous steps toward His Light daily. He is the one who illuminates us with clarity and truth.

Esta obra representa ese momento del atardecer en el que cada pincelada parece acercarnos a Dios. En el horizonte, su luz se despliega con gracia, suave pero poderosa, disipando la oscuridad que nos rodea.
Pero las sombras no siempre llegan con tormentas o truenos. A veces entran silenciosas, con pensamientos o disfrazadas de rutinas vacías.
Y es que la oscuridad es así: engañosa, confusa. Con un poco de luz, nos damos cuenta de que está ahí. Traen confusión, produce miedo… y muchas veces nos lleva por caminos que nunca hubiéramos querido pisar.
Esta obra nos recuerda algo esencial: disipar las sombras no es un acto religioso, no es fingir que todo está bien. Tampoco ocurre de la noche a la mañana. Es un proceso diario de acercarnos a la luz de Dios, a su verdad, a su revelación, a su presencia. Pedir ayuda sí es necesario, soltar el peso, porque la identidad, la paz, el amor y la seguridad se van formando y fortaleciendo a medida que vamos diariamente dando pasos valientes hacia Su Luz. El es quien nos alumbra con claridad y verdad.
