Atardecer

My new art collection, "Atardecer” is inspired by the cyclical and unwavering nature of the sunset, that moment when you can contemplate the light of day igniting like fire. Even as it prepares to say goodbye, it looks back at us with a brilliant energy, full of promise, reminding us: "As long as the earth exists, there will be seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, day and night."

On this occasion, purple, orange, and tan tones are the colors I chose to represent, evoking this transition between the intensity of the end and the accumulated strength for what is to come. A vibrant combination, full of vitality and drive, reminds me of the verse: "But those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar like eagles; they will run and not be weary; they will walk and not be faint."

Each stroke, each layer of color, seeks to capture the emotional essence of that fleeting yet transcendental moment. Through this collection, I seek to reflect the emotional and spiritual connection between the end of one cycle and the beginning of another, remembering how the energy of one day dissolves and transforms, nourishing the next.

And in that flow of the inevitable resides resilience, which is not just a human capacity; it is possible with God's help, in His infinite love , He allows us to rise through Jesus, and in the midst of that incomparable grace, He accompanies us step by step, giving us the strength to do so, without being trapped in confusion, pain, unforgiveness, or suffering. He guides us to heal, to learn, and to move forward with hope. A grateful heart that trusts in Him not only perseveres, but is renewed.

No matter what season of your life you are in, my intention is to invite you to glide freely through this entire art collection, contemplating and remembering that in every sunset there is an opportunity, a constant affirmation of hope, strength, and life that continues. Because "The mercies of the Lord are new every morning," and every sunset whispers to us the certainty that tomorrow can be better, that within us there is renewal, purpose, and a light that never goes out.
